About three weeks ago, I started experiencing slight aches. I didn't think it was anything serious until it kept recurring. Then, abruptly, it stopped, until about 2 days ago.
You see, 2018 was when I started developing this ache and the doctors said it was a migraine. That was when I started using protective eyeglasses. It didn't quite come off as a surprise because my Mom and two of my sisters used glasses as well.

This year, I decided to stop using it. You know, after the church declared 21 days prayer and fasting in January.
For two months, I could see clearly without my glasses, I worked comfortably and happily (supposedly ever after)...
Until...
A colleague of mine decided to buy a protective glass for herself (not recommended). Then I remembered my glass I had not used in two months and acknowledged how good it was to be without it.
Every day I saw her with the glass, my mind flashed to when I used to use my glass.
It didn't take long, and I began to subconsciously see myself using glasses and I was so scared that I could actually do without them.
It wasn't long and I started developing these aches.
Did I bring that upon myself? I don't know!

But what I do know is that;
"Whatever you hate, you objectify in your mind and it tends to come back at you."
I hated using glasses, and I thought about it every single day.
The reason a lot of people are where they are is that they are consistently focused on that thing that they hate.
They fixate their minds on the things they wish they didn't have anymore, like the crisis in their lives, the things they seemingly can't control, etc.
And they end up attracting those very things into their lives.
Instead of hating the problem, why not use the problem to become a better you?
Crisis provides us with the opportunity to do the things we could never do before. - Rahm Emmanuel
So instead of hating on that problem, which would objectify and only come back to haunt you.
Why not seek ways to eliminate that problem?
There are things that are way out of our power to handle. But most times, we tend to focus on those things that we can't handle other than the things we can.
Focusing exclusively on what is in your power magnifies and enhances your power.
So instead of focusing on the prevalent crisis, channel your thoughts into what you have control over.
Question to Ponder: What is in my power that can be controlled?
Sending you lots of love and light!

Amazing story line, the power of the Mind
Amazing storytelling as usual. We attract whatever we choose to dwell on in our minds. It does't matter if it is positive or negative
